This seems to be a solid little unit. I was concerned that it would be cheaply built, however it looks good. Light is decently bright and the crank feels sturdy not fragile. I am glad to have it on my packing gear. The only concern will be how resistant it is to moisture, it never seems to fail that I get wet while I hike or camp. Very nice little light. I’ve played around with it a few times, but haven’t had any catastrophes yet to really test it. It’s brighter than I expected for its size. I might prefer this with a similar item, maybe a lantern, to be really prepared for the catastrophe. Better yet, let’s have no catastrophes!
